Our Story
Many prospective college students are now aware that not everyone pays the list price for items. But what percentage of students receive discounts, how much do they cost, and what kinds of students benefit from them?
Reading the so-called Common Data Set is one approach to get the answers to these and many other questions concerning the entire undergraduate experience. The C.D.S. is a repository of data on enrollment, demographics, financial assistance, coursework, and campus life. Each year, schools compile data and give it to organizations like Peterson's, U.S. News & World Report, and others that group or rank colleges and universities.
Most colleges include a section of their webpages dedicated to their C.D.S.
